Terms and Conditions
1. Payments; Deposits; Refunds
A deposit is required prior to Mod Restoration's receipt of any furniture. The deposit shall consist of fifty percent (50%) of all labor and delivery charges, plus one hundred percent (100%) of the cost of all fabrics and materials. All payments must be made via ACH transfer through Stripe.
The remaining balance shall be due immediately upon completion of the project and prior to delivery. Mod Restoration reserves the right to withhold delivery until full payment has been received.
Once materials are ordered, all deposits become non-refundable. All fabrics, leathers, and materials are custom-ordered, non-cancellable, and non-refundable.
2. Lead Time
Estimated lead time is six (6) to eight (8) weeks from the date the furniture and all required materials are received at Mod Restoration's workroom.
Projects requiring multiple services (i.e. reupholstery & refinishing) may require an additional two (2) to four (4) weeks. All lead times are estimates only and not guaranteed.
3. Change Orders
Any changes to the scope of work requested after approval must be approved in writing and may result in additional charges or timeline changes.
4. Rush Orders
Rush services may be available at Mod Restoration's discretion and must be approved prior to furniture pickup.
5. Storage and Delivery
Mod Restoration is not a storage facility. Furniture must be delivered within two (2) weeks of completion or storage fees may apply.
6. Access and Delivery Conditions
The client is responsible for ensuring clear and safe access for delivery.
7. Transportation and Third-Party Carriers
Mod Restoration uses third-party carriers for pickup and deliveries. Risk of loss transfers upon release to carrier. Shipping insurance is always recommended, especially when transporting long distances.
8. Limitation of Liability
Mod Restoration is not responsible for pre-existing conditions or natural material variations.
9. Governing Law
This agreement shall be governed by the State of New York.
10. Acceptance of Terms
By submitting a deposit, the client agrees to these terms and conditions.
